Australia has been a continent that never on my list to visit until about 2 years ago when I started to dive into the world of coffee and tourism. Since then, I heard and read a lot of references about coffee culture, sustainable tourism, ecotourism, from Australia. Even my text book at Boston University is using Prof. David Weaver’s Ecotourism book from Griffith University, one of the best University in tourism major in Australia.

Then the fate bring me to apply for Australia Awards Short Course Program on “Startup Ecosystem” and it is a 2 weeks course about entrepreneurship, start-up ecosystem in Australia, Indonesia, and the world. I pitch about Wanderlust Indonesia and creating a short video with the help of JP and Sidiq when we were visiting beautiful lake in Ciwidey. Here I am now in Australia, together with the other 25 participants from start-up founders, incubator / accelerator founders, University business professor, NGO, Non Profit, Government people who work on start-up ecosystem in Indonesia. I have to admit that this batch of scholarship has a very diverse background of age, industry, and characteristic. We are all blend into one batch program that will take us to Adelaide – Melbourne and Sydney from 10 – 25 November 2018.

I will be posting exciting activities, inspiring sessions, business model or pitch that we learn, and many other interesting program that we experience during this scholarship on my blog. Stay tune & ask me anything about this scholarship! Hopefully you can be the next awardee!

Best,
